When buying a monitor, price should never be an issue since typically monitors lasts for years and you're using it every day. You should always buy the best monitor that you can afford since your eyes are more important than money.

Having said that, I got a couple of these Acer's for the price... and I'm totally satisfied. I was drawn towards them for the price but have no complaints at all regarding quality. The last monitors I had were 17 ones and these are a huge step up size-wise. I like everything about them, the base, the matte screen, the set-up. I will absolutely buy Acer again.

I have an Acer 19 inch with my computer of two years ago. It has great resolution and contrast, therefore, I decided to go bigger and give my wife the 19 inch widescreen. So far Acer seems to be company of choice for my needs of price, value and quality. The new screen is flawless. As always, Amazon was rather prompt, well take that back. I ordered on Thursday and they shipped it on Monday. Oh well, what's a day? I like Amazon and have not had any problems at all so far. I have ordered from Amazon for several years. No, I don't work for Amazon.
