These bags are great, this vacuum is fantastic. No question. I spent a LOT of time last year looking around and comparing vacuum types and prices, looking on review sites and Consumer Reports and everything. I wanted a LIGHTWEIGHT, QUALITY, STRONG vacuum, and this was the winner in the end. My Mom even ended up buying the same vacuum after she tried mine out. (And let me tell you, she has tried A LOT of vacuums over the years. She's even thinking about getting a second one because she loves it so much.) And the bags last FOREVER. (I'm a pretty infrequent vacuumer, but I've had the big bag in my upright for about a year and just changed it for the first time.)
But just a heads up folks, this particular 8 Q Bag + 8 I Bag Combo IS NOT the best value you can get on Amazon. It's cheaper to buy 4 of the 2pack Q bags and 4 of the 2pack I bags. They both are under a "Buy 3 Get 1 Free" Promotion, so you have to do each order separately, but in the end, it ends up being cheaper as long as you can snag the free shipping.

I recently purchased my first Hoover vacuum, the Hoover Platinum Lightweight Upright Vacuum with Canister(UH30010COM) so of course needed a supply of replacement bags. I vacuum almost daily, cleaning up after a family of four and a dog, vacuuming carpet and hard floors. I am quite pleased with these bags overall. The upright vacuum used quite a large bag, and I'm quite happy with the capacity of the bag, as well as the HEPA filter. The bags don't "smell" when full, and they even have a sliding cover to prevent the contents of the bag from spilling out. How cool is that? My vacuum does not have a "bag full" indicator, but I know it is full when the vacuum itself is heavy to push!
Overall I"m pleased with the ability to get 16 bags at a time for my two vacuums. Now I don't have to worry about running out of bags for quite a while!
