i bought this particular nailer because of it`s price. I needed to install about 450 square feet of flooring and i`m happy to report that it performed as well as any nailer that i had previously rented from home depot and the like. It performed flawlessly and came with everything you need to do your job including lubricating oil.

I bought this to do 400+ sqft of flooring and did not want to rent a tool. At this price it was an easy choice to buy vs. rent. The tool has worked very well. I used the oil it came with in the air intake as you normally would to oil an air tool. Even so I did experience a couple of jams early and quickly realized that plunger shaft was not popping back up as easily as it should because there was paint oversprayed onto the shaft. I squirted some oil onto the plunger shaft and never had another jamb.
If you buy this tool I suggest you drop a bit of oil on the outside of the plunger shaft before using it and you will be very very happy.

I bought this flooring nailer about 6 months ago to save money on renting a Bostitch and I'm so glad that I did. I have used it to lay over 500 sq ft of 2-1/4" x 3/4" oak flooring and the nailer has worked flawlessly. It has been worth every penny I spent on it and then some, because the local rental place wanted $60/day to rent the Bostitch. Buying this has allowed me to take my time in doing the floor. I used the Bostitch FLN-200 2 inch L-Nails to secure the floor and they load easily into the NuMax Nailer. I also used a Porter-Cable C2002 Pancake compressor with the pressure set at about 110 psi. The nails go in nicely and counter sink perfectly flush with the wood tongue on the wood flooring. I am very happy with the performance of this nailer and if you're a homeowner like me, I'm sure this tool will do the job for you too.
